Luxe On Wheels
The Rolls-Royce Cullinan is priced at Rs 6.95 crore, ex-showroom for the base variant. The first Indian to have the car was Mukesh Ambani. With this car, the luxury car maker has launched its first-ever SUV that comes with some futuristic features.
The car has a 6.8-litre V12 petrol engine force-fed by twin-turbochargers. The Cullinan produces 560 Bhp of power and has a peak torque of 850 Nm. It has 8-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel steering system.
The Cullinan can do 0-100 km/h in just five seconds but the speed limit is 249 km/h. To aid off-roading, the car has a futuristic 360-degree camera system that allows a bird’s eye angle view to the driver. The vehicle even has an off-roading button that can change it to that mode.
The Good Life
Boasting of being the only SUV with a separate passenger environment, the Cullinan’s rear cabin is completely sealed from luggage zones by partition glass. The car has climate control and sound insulation for passengers, the company website says.
A Grand Debut
The Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este in May 2018 in Lake Como in Italy was where the car was first revealed. The car gets its name from the Cullinan diamond which is at 3100 carats, the largest diamond ever found.
