Big Brother Naija has officially launched its 11th season, introducing the first 24 housemates who will spend the next 72 days competing for a record-breaking prize package worth ₦160 million.

The new season premiered on Sunday night with longtime host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu welcoming viewers to what organisers have themed “Everything Is For The Taking”, also known as “Show Ya Sef.”

This year’s winner will receive ₦100 million in cash and a brand-new SUV, making it the most valuable prize package since the reality television franchise debuted.

Diverse Cast Set for Season 11

The newly unveiled contestants come from a wide range of backgrounds, including broadcasting, law, engineering, fashion, technology, entrepreneurship, entertainment and healthcare.

During the live launch, each housemate introduced themselves and shared what viewers should expect from them throughout the competition.

Streamer Tram, 24, from Lagos, declared that he entered the competition to win rather than pursue romance.

Model Temi Nkem, 21, said she intends to play the game on her own terms, while Abi, a chef and model from Osun State, drew immediate attention after revealing she is married.

Several contestants indicated they are open to forming relationships inside the house, while others insisted they would remain focused solely on securing the grand prize.
