Spain defeated France by two goals to nil to reach the 2026 world cup final.
The La Furia Roja produced a masterclass to win the game through goals from Mikel Oyarzabal and Pedro Porro.
Much of the talk in the build up to the game has been about France’s free scoring front four of Mbappe, Dembele, Olise and Doue but they were nowhere near their best on the night.

A careless foul by left back Lucas Digne handed Spain a penalty early in the game which was calmly dispatched by Mikel Oyarzabal.
The French team could not find their way into the game and were put to sleep in the second half by right back Pedro Porro who got on the end of a quick interchange of passes to slot past Mike Maignan in goal.
Lamine Yamal also had a goal ruled out for offside as Spain booked their place in sunday’s final where they would face the winner of the second semi final between Argentina and England.
