The actress acknowledged the economic realities driving some women into transactional relationships but urged them to see it as temporary rather than a long-term path.
In a viral video circulating on social media on Wednesday, the actress encouraged women to recognise their worth beyond physical appearance and social media validation.
“You don’t have to show your boobs to be sexy. You don’t have to shake your bum bum to go viral or get attention,” Bello said in the clip.

“And if what you’re doing now is being a runs girl to make money, you don’t have to stay there. I understand it. I understand it,” she stated.
Bello stressed that she was not condemning women facing financial hardship, noting that some are trying to support their families or fund education.
“Some girls are doing it because they need to feed mum. They need to send their brother to school. I understand it,” she added.
However, she repeatedly encouraged young women to seek opportunities beyond such lifestyles.
“My darlings, don’t stay there,” she said.
The video has generated mixed reactions online, with some social media users praising the actress for addressing societal pressures facing young women, while others debated the tone and framing of her comments.
