Olajumoke Agbetanmije has been appointed Deloitte’s Nigeria Sustainability Officer, reporting to the Chief Sustainability Officer, West Africa.

In this role, she will support the execution of Deloitte’s World Climate objectives, driving initiatives focused on sustainability, climate action, and creating impact that truly matters

Before this appointment, Agbetanmije has built a growing career in sustainability, ESG reporting, organizational development, and business operations across the manufacturing and advisory sectors.

She most recently served as Sustainability Specialist at Seven Up Bottling Company, where she led data collection and reporting for ESG frameworks, supported recycling and circular economy initiatives, and coordinated sustainability awareness and employee engagement programmes aligned with corporate sustainability goals.

Before assuming the specialist role, she worked as Sustainability Analyst at the company, supporting sustainability reporting compliance and cross-functional alignment on environmental and social impact initiatives. Her earlier roles at Seven Up Bottling Company also included Learning & Development Analyst and People & Culture Management Trainee, where she contributed to employee capability development, onboarding systems, and operational improvement projects.

Alongside her corporate experience, Agbetanmije held leadership and advisory roles at RECYCLEDGE, serving as Business Associate and previously as Head of Administration & Advisory. In those capacities, she supported sustainability-focused business development projects, organizational strategy, workforce planning, and operational transformation initiatives.
