UAC of Nigeria PLC has announced a strategic board realignment that will see its Group Investment Director, Adebolanle Badejo, join the Board of UPDC PLC.
The appointment, which takes effect from 13 July 2026, will see Badejo step down from the Board of UAC of Nigeria PLC while remaining Group Investment Director and a member of the Group’s Executive Committee, reporting directly to the Group Managing Director.
According to the company, the restructuring is designed to enable Badejo devote greater attention to portfolio governance, value creation initiatives, mergers and acquisitions, divestment of non-core assets, and major capital allocation decisions across the Group.
Despite leaving the UAC board, Badejo will continue serving as a Non-Executive Director across several of the Group’s key subsidiaries, including CAP PLC, CHI Limited, DP World Logistics, Grand Cereals, Livestock Feeds PLC, UAC Foods Limited and UAC Restaurants Limited.
