‘Bel-Air’ Season 4 Set to Premiere November 24 on Peacock: What to Expect

The final season pays tribute to the original Fresh Prince with updated takes on iconic moments.

Bel Air Season 4

The fourth and final season of Bel-Air will premiere on Monday, November 24, 2025, on Peacock, with the first three episodes dropping at 8am WAT.

The reimagined drama series, inspired by the classic NBC sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, will conclude with eight episodes released in three batches:

  • Episodes 1–3: November 24, 2025
  • Episodes 4–5: December 1, 2025
  • Episodes 6–8: December 8, 2025

What to Expect?

Jabari Banks returns as Will Smith, alongside Olly Sholotan (Carlton Banks), Cassandra Freeman (Vivian Banks), Adrian Holmes (Philip Banks), Coco Jones (Hilary), Akira Akbar (Ashley), Jimmy Akingbola (Geoffrey), Simone Joy Jones (Lisa), Jordan L. Jones (Jazz) and others.

Season 4 finds Will back in Bel-Air after his kidnapping, trying to enjoy his senior year while wrestling with flashbacks to his life in West Philadelphia. He grows closer to cousin Carlton as they navigate parties, homecoming, and college applications.

Carlton returns to school after rehab and faces complicated romantic choices when his summer girlfriend, Amira (Alycia Pascual-Peña), enrolls at his school. Despite new interests, the pair repeatedly find their way back to each other.

Will’s relationship with Lisa (Simone Joy Jones) remains strong, with the couple described as “locked in” amid the chaos of the season.

Hilary, Lamarcus and Jazz’s unresolved love story

Hilary’s storyline picks up from the Season 3 cliffhanger, in which her husband and NFL player Lamarcus Alton (Justin Cornwell) collapsed from heart failure and was found unconscious in bed. The development echoes the original Fresh Prince, where Hilary’s fiancé Trevor died in a tragic accident, raising questions about Lamarcus’ fate.

Meanwhile, Jazz (Jordan L. Jones) continues to harbor deep feelings for Hilary, insisting his love for her has never changed. Even if he must love her from a distance, he clings to the knowledge that she reciprocated his feelings. His arc also explores his struggle to keep Charlie’s Vinyl, his record store, alive as new business opportunities emerge.

Family shifts, flashbacks and old enemies

Within the Banks household, Vivian’s positive pregnancy test introduces the possibility of a new addition to the family, while Philip pushes the children to build lives beyond the safety of Bel-Air.

Geoffrey (Jimmy Akingbola), whose criminal past in London forced him to step away from the family in Season 3, returns in Season 4. New episodes feature flashbacks to a young Geoffrey meeting a young Phil, revealing how the Banks family filled a personal void in Geoffrey’s life and deepening the emotional stakes of their present-day rift.

Ashley Banks (Akira Akbar) is shown in the trailer throwing punches in a high school fight, with the new season expected to delve further into her growth, activism and relationships, giving her a more active role than in the original sitcom.

Nostalgic homages and guest stars

The final season pays tribute to the original Fresh Prince with updated takes on iconic moments. Carlton finally performs his version of the Carlton dance in a homecoming scene, while Will and Carlton recreate  with a twist the famous “Jump On It” Apache dance at a house party.

Season 4 will also feature guest appearances from Tyra Banks, playing a new character who clashes with Vivian, and a cameo by Snoop Dogg.

For Jabari Banks, whose role as Will marked his acting debut, the end of Bel-Air closes a major chapter. Mentored by original star Will Smith throughout the series, Banks says he hopes to carry the sense of love and community from the Bel-Air set into future projects.
