Zenith Bank Plc has announced a new recruitment opportunity for experienced finance professionals, as the lender seeks to hire a Corporate Finance Specialist to strengthen its strategic finance and investment operations.
The position, which is based in Lagos, is a full-time role targeted at professionals with extensive experience in corporate finance, investment banking, capital management, and financial advisory services.

Key Responsibilities
The bank said the Corporate Finance Specialist will be responsible for:
- Developing and improving financial models and forecasts for investment and strategic planning.
- Conducting valuation assessments using Discounted Cash Flow (DCF), comparable company analysis, and precedent transaction methods.
- Leading financial due diligence exercises, including risk assessments and synergy evaluations.
- Preparing investment reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
- Supporting mergers and acquisitions, capital raising projects, and structured financing deals.
- Managing international loan syndications and cross-border financing arrangements.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal risk management frameworks.
The role also requires collaboration with cross-functional teams on large-scale investment projects, including greenfield and brownfield initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants are expected to possess a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, investment banking, or capital management within the financial services sector or related industries.
Zenith Bank stated that candidates should have strong expertise in financial modelling, valuation techniques, risk analysis, and mergers and acquisitions. Knowledge of Nigerian banking regulations involving the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC), Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), and Basel standards is also required.
The bank added that applicants must hold at least a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related disciplines. Professional certifications such as CFA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, FRM, or FMVA will provide an added advantage.
