The designer shared the news on Instagram on Wednesday, revealing that their daughter, Eliana Adeife Atere, was born on May 2, 2026.
The announcement quickly drew congratulatory messages from celebrities, colleagues, and fans across social media.
In her post, Veekee James wrote, “She’s Here. #elianaatere. 02-May-26. Eliana Adeife Atere.”
She also explained the meaning behind the child’s name, saying “EL” represents God, while “ANA” means “He has answered,” describing the name as a reflection of answered prayers.
Referencing a Bible verse from 1 Samuel 1:27, she added that the birth of her daughter was a fulfillment of prayers she had long made.
Several Nigerian celebrities reacted warmly to the announcement. Media entrepreneur Mo Abudu congratulated the couple and praised the newborn, while actress Osas Ighodaro described the baby as “absolutely beautiful.”
