The Senate has passed two of the four tax reforms bill proposed by the federal government following deliberations.
The Nigeria Revenue Service (Establishment) Bill and the Nigeria Tax Administration Bill were considered for third reading and passed by the Senate during wednesday’s plenary following its presentation by its special committee, the finance committee, and clause by clause consideration of the bills.
The remaining two of the four tax reform bills,; the Nigeria Tax Bill and the Joint Revenue Board (Establishment) Bill are slated for passage tomorrow, 8 May 2025.
