Partech, a global tech investment firm headquartered in Paris, with offices in Berlin, Dakar, Dubai, Nairobi, Lagos, and San Francisco, is currently hiring an Investment Analyst Intern.

The company, which has been backing African tech startups since 2017, seeks an intern in the Africa team, who will be part of one of the leading tech investment firms in Africa, benefiting from the team’s expertise and strong network. The selected candidate will be involved at every stage of the investment process, including:

  • Sourcing: Screening and reviewing investment opportunities to help identify potential investment targets and present them in internal team meetings.
  • Investment process: Helping to manage and assess dealflow by evaluating pitch decks, participating in initial assessment, meeting entrepreneurs and assisting in the in-depth analysis and due diligence.
  • Market Research: researching various sectors and subsectors within target verticals and providing deep-dive analysis. The intern would also support in the preparation of the Partech Africa report.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor or master program in business or engineering (or equivalent)
  • At least a first meaningful experience in VC/PE/M&A
  • Strong analytical and writing skills, with capacity to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Committed to highest ethical standards
  • Autonomous, curious and structured profile with a data-driven mindset
  • Team spirit and strong interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in English, other languages are a plus
