Position: Ethics and Compliance Lead

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Leading the delivery of whistleblowing and ethics hotline services for clients.
- Ensuring compliance with KPMG policies, Nigerian regulations, and international standards, including ISO 37002.
- Managing ethics line operators and supervising case intake, investigations, reporting, and operational processes.
- Reviewing call records and case documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Coordinating monthly and quarterly client reports.
- Supporting client onboarding while ensuring alignment with internal compliance procedures.
- Overseeing administrative and operational activities within the ethics unit.
- Conducting research on ethics, governance, and compliance trends.
- Preparing and delivering ethics awareness presentations and training sessions.
- Supporting business development initiatives and client relationship management.
- Ensuring adherence to Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) and confidentiality requirements.
- Performing other responsibilities assigned by the unit.
Requirements
Applicants should possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree or HND in a relevant discipline.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent interviewing, analytical, and investigative skills.
- Ability to identify trends and produce actionable reports.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- High ethical standards, integrity, and discretion when handling confidential information.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience managing teams and working in client-facing environments.
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates with the following will have an added advantage:
- Fluency in English and at least one Nigerian language (Hausa, Yoruba, or Igbo).
- Knowledge of ISO 37002 or other compliance and whistleblowing frameworks.
- Demonstrated success in business development and revenue generation.
