3. Rhodes Scholarships
   Application Deadline: December 2024
   Description: The Rhodes Scholarship is a fully funded, full-time postgraduate award which enables talented young people from around the world to study at the University of Oxford. The Rhodes Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship, with the purpose of developing public-spirited leaders and promoting international understanding and peace through an international community of Scholars. Rhodes Scholars come to the UK for two or more years and can apply to study most full-time postgraduate courses offered by Oxford University.Apply here

United States

1. Fulbright Programme
   Application Deadline: October 2024
   Description: Provides funding for graduate study, research, and teaching assistantships. It includes tuition, living expenses, and travel costs. The programme aims to promote international understanding through educational exchange. These scholarships are only offered for Master’s and PhD studies.Apply here
2. Yale Scholarship
   Description: Yale’s need-based grant aid for undergraduates, the Yale Scholarship, is a gift and thus never has to be repaid. If a student is awarded financial aid, the Yale Scholarship amount is included on the Financial Aid Award Letter. The Yale Scholarship can vary from a few hundred dollars to over $70,000 per year; the average Yale need-based scholarship is over $50,000.Apply here
3. American Association of University Women (AAUW)

   Description: The programme provides support for women pursuing full-time graduate or postdoctoral study in the United States who are not U.S. citizens or permanent residents, and who intend to return to their home country to pursue a professional career.Apply here

Canada

1. Lester B. Pearson Scholarship Programme
   Application Deadline: November 2024
   Description: The scholarship recognises exceptional academic achievement and creativity and is awarded to students who are recognised as leaders within their school. There is a special focus on the student’s impact on their school and community, and their future potential to contribute positively to the global community. It covers tuition, books, incidental fees, and full residence support for four years. It is only applicable to undergraduate students.Apply here
2. University of Manitoba Graduate Fellowship (UMGF)
   Application Deadline: December 2024
   Description: The fellowships are awarded annually to graduate students who have demonstrated intellectual ability and academic accomplishments. Valued at $18,000 at the PhD level and $14,000 at the Master’s level, they are offered each year to graduate students who:
   1. Are enrolled in or plan to enrol in the Faculty of Graduate Studies at the University of Manitoba in either the Master’s or PhD programme as full-time students. Not including pre-Master’s or occasional students, Master’s of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Finance (MFin), and Master of Supply Chain Management (MSCM). These graduate programmes do not meet the eligibility criteria for Tri-Agency graduate student awards.
   2. Have a minimum admission grade point average of 3.00 based on their admission to their current graduate programme. Some departments require a higher GPA to be eligible.
   3. Show great promise as researchers and as graduate students.
   4. Are admitted to, or registered in, a programme that is eligible for NSERC, SSHRC, or CIHR graduate student awards.

3. Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarships
   Application Deadline: 30th October 2024
   Description: Valued at $50,000 per year for three years during doctoral studies. Candidates must be nominated by a Canadian institution with a quota to host Vanier scholars. Candidates should only seek a nomination from the institution at which they want to study.Instructions here

1. Deakin University Scholarships
   Application Deadline: 6th October 2024
   Description: One of the scholarships is funded by the Australian Government, while the other is funded by Deakin University. Both awards are available to domestic and international students. Only top-ranked applicants will be offered.Apply here
