The Financial Times, in partnership with Statista, is now accepting submissions for its fourth annual ranking of Africa’s fastest-growing companies.
This list will emphasise businesses with notable revenue growth between 2020 and 2023 and will be published in May 2025.
The report, set to appear in a weekday edition of the FT and online at FT.com, will showcase companies that have thrived despite challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Previous editions of the ranking have shown the resilience and growth of many African businesses.
Financial Times claims Potential candidates for the next list can submit their names through this website, and others will be contacted by Statista.
The deadline for submission of entries is January 31, 2025.

To qualify for inclusion, your company must meet the following conditions:
- Generated at least $100,000 in revenue in 2020.
- Generated at least $1.5 million in revenue in 2023.
- Be an independent company (not a subsidiary or branch).
- Headquarters is in an African country.
Revenue in non-dollar currencies must be converted using the average exchange rate for the relevant fiscal year.

Register with Statista by January 31, 2025, or download the form and submit it to ft-africa@statista.com. - Verification of Revenue
You will need to provide verified revenue data, signed by a managing director or executive committee member, by January 31, 2025.
