Ticket prices for England’s quarter-final clash against Norway at the 2026 FIFA World Cup has surged with resale listings reaching as high as $8 million.
According to listings on FIFA’s official resale platform, the cheapest available tickets for the match scheduled to take place at the Hard Rock Stadium start at approximately $2,760, while premium listings have climbed to an eye-watering $8 million.
Despite the extraordinary asking prices, ticket marketplace data from SeatPick indicates that the average resale price over the past three days has fallen by 28%, a decline attributed largely to Brazil’s elimination from the tournament, which reduced demand.
Should England defeat Norway, they would advance to the semi-finals in Atlanta, where resale tickets currently begin at around $3,600 and rise to $800,000.
Prices for the tournament final at MetLife Stadium are even steeper, with resale listings starting at about $11,000 and reaching more than $11 million.
The 2026 FIFA World Cup, jointly hosted by United States, Canada and Mexico, has attracted criticism over soaring ticket prices, with many supporters saying they have been priced out of attending matches. In response, FIFA introduced a programme guaranteeing a limited allocation of lower-priced tickets for loyal supporters of participating nations.
