Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, a well-known Nigerian cross-dresser, has opened up about his mental health struggles amid serious allegations levelled against him.

Arbiterz earlier reported that social media influencer Martins Vincent Otse, widely recognized as VeryDarkMan, accused Bobrisky of attempting to bribe operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) with N15 million.
This alleged bribe was meant to have the agency drop money laundering charges against him, allowing Bobrisky to avoid serving a potential jail term at the Kirikiri Correctional Centre in Lagos.
In a video released earlier this week, VeryDarkMan claimed that Bobrisky’s alleged actions reflect a desperate attempt to evade legal consequences.
However, Bobrisky wasted no time in responding to these accusations. On Wednesday, September 25, 2024, he took to his social media platforms to deny the claims, stating that he had already served his jail term and had not engaged in any bribery.
Bobrisky not only denied the accusations but also called out a voice recording that went viral and was allegedly connected to the bribery scandal. The situation, he claimed, has had a severe impact on his mental health, and he expressed his frustration and distress over it.
Suicide Contemplation Post
On September 26, Bobrisky shared on Instagram that he has been contemplating suicide due to accusations and efforts to tarnish his reputation.
He expressed feelings of despair, stating, “I have never in my life thought about suicide, but now it’s coming to my head seeing what human beings are doing to their fellow human just in the name of wanting to bring them down by force or because you don’t like them.”
As Bobrisky considers the betrayal and isolation he experiences from people around him, it is clear that he is experiencing emotional turmoil. “I don’t need any sympathy from anyone. The people I might have needed sympathy from are my late parents. But who will fight for you? Friends? Haters, you won,” he lamented.
In an alarming turn of events, Bobrisky has also deleted all photos and videos from his Instagram account. As the controversy unfolds, it remains to be seen how this will affect Bobrisky’s career and personal life.
