Applications Open for 2025 Chevron Internship Programme

Chevron Nigeria Limited (CNL) has announced that applications are now open for its 2025 Internship Programme, with a deadline set for December 12, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. This initiative is part of Chevron’s commitment to corporate social responsibility and its support for the Student Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES), providing Nigerian students with practical industry experience and opportunities for skill development.

The program is open to undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate students, offering participants the chance to build technical knowledge, enhance skills, and gain valuable insights into industry operations through hands-on assignments, mentorship, and professional exposure.

Programme Details

Undergraduate Programme Eligibility and Requirements

  • Open to Nigerian students pursuing Bachelor’s, National Diploma (ND), or Higher National Diploma (HND) programs, either in Nigeria or overseas.
  • Applicants must be enrolled in academic programs where industry experience is a graduation requirement.
  • A recommendation letter from the student’s academic institution is mandatory.
  • The internship spans a minimum of three months and a maximum of 12 months, depending on program requirements.
  • Applicants must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Selection is based on aptitude test performance and availability of slots.

Postgraduate Programme Eligibility and Requirements

  • Open to Nigerian students pursuing Master’s or Doctorate degrees or postgraduate professional qualifications in Nigeria or overseas.
  • The internship duration ranges from six to 12 months for Master’s programs and up to 24 months for Doctorate programs.
  • Candidates must submit a recommendation letter from their institutions and include research areas or fields of interest in their applications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Selections will include aptitude tests and/or interviews and will be based on merit and availability.
