Ikeja Electric has informed its customers that the poor power supply being experienced by consumers within its network is due to reduced allocation to its network from the Grid.
in a notice released on Monday, Ikeja Electric stated it was currently interfacing with the relevant stakeholders to sort out the issue.
“We wish to inform customers across Ikeja Electric network that the reduced hours of electricity supply is due to a shortfall in the amount of power currently allocated to our network from the national grid.
“We understand the inconvenience this may cause and sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding.
“Please be assured that we are actively engaging the relevant stakeholders to improve the available power supply and will continue to distribute the power received from the grid as efficiently and equitably as possible.” The statement read in part.
