Samsung has expanded its Certified Re-Newed programme to include the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+ and Galaxy S26 Ultra, giving customers a more affordable way to buy its latest flagship smartphones.
The company announced the expansion on September 9, 2026, saying the devices undergo Samsung’s own inspection and refurbishment process before being resold.
Galaxy S26 Series joins Certified Re-Newed programme
The three Galaxy S26 models are now available through Samsung’s Certified Re-Newed programme, which is designed to provide refurbished smartphones with performance, quality and warranty protections comparable to new devices.
Samsung said each phone undergoes expert inspection, rigorous cleaning and quality testing. The devices are refurbished using genuine Samsung parts and reset to remove previous users’ personal data.
The company also said the phones are restored to a condition equivalent to that of a brand-new device.
Galaxy S26 Ultra brings new AI and privacy features
The Galaxy S26 Ultra remains the top model in the series and features what Samsung describes as the most powerful hardware in a Galaxy S-series phone.
It includes an advanced camera system and Samsung’s latest Galaxy AI features, alongside a built-in Privacy Display designed to keep the screen readable for the user while making its contents harder for people nearby to view.
The Galaxy S26 and S26+ also offer Samsung’s latest AI and camera features in slimmer flagship designs.
Samsung said the S26 series is supported by seven generations of operating system upgrades and security updates, extending the expected lifespan of the devices.
Same warranty as new Galaxy phones
Samsung said Certified Re-Newed Galaxy S26 devices receive the same warranty as new Galaxy devices.
The phones are also updated with the latest software before being sold, giving buyers access to current security protections and software features.
Availability and colours
The Galaxy S26 Certified Re-Newed, Galaxy S26+ Certified Re-Newed and Galaxy S26 Ultra Certified Re-Newed are available from September 9, 2026, through Samsung’s UK website.
The refurbished models are offered in Black and Cobalt Violet and come with a two-year warranty, matching the warranty period for Samsung’s new smartphones in the UK.
