Former Big Brother Naija star Anita Natacha Akide, better known as Tacha, has etched her name into the Guinness World Records by achieving two new titles: the most cosmetic makeovers completed in 8 hours (82 makeovers) and 24 hours (144 makeovers).
The official announcement came via Guinness World Records on X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday:
“Congratulations to @Symply_Tacha who set TWO new @GWR titles for the most cosmetic makeovers in eight hours and 24 hours.”
The record-breaking feat took place during the Tacha Beauty Festival, a three-day event held from October 10–12, 2025, at the John Randle Centre for Yorùbá Culture & History in Lagos. Tacha worked with 150 models to complete the challenge.
An Emotional Triumph
In a heartfelt Instagram post, the 29-year-old reality star expressed profound gratitude to her team, fans, and late mother:
“We didn’t just work! We warred. Sleepless nights, generator hum, prayers at 3 AM, swollen feet, shaky hands — and grace that does not lie.”
She continued:
“The world sees the headline, but God and I know the trenches.”
Tacha told Guinness World Records:
“Makeup has always been. From childhood, I was fascinated by colours and beauty. This record was born from resilience, the courage to stand out, and a desire to show that **Nigerian women can achieve anything.”
A Message to Dreamers
Addressing her supporters — known as Titans — Tacha wrote:
“To everyone who called, pulled up, reposted, believed before they saw it — thank you. The same God who did this for me will answer your secret prayers double.”
She added a bold note to aspiring achievers:
“If you don’t have haters, pray for haters — because they’ll push you into purpose. While they hate, I chase destiny and win.”
