U.S. President Donald Trump has said he would be awarding late MAGA influencer Charlie Kirk with the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
Trump made the announcement at an event to mark the 24th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks in the US
“Before we begin, let me express the horror and grief so many Americans at the heinous assassination of Charlie Kirk have felt.
“Charlie was a giant of his generation, a champion of liberty and an inspiration to millions and millions of people. Our prayers are with his wonderful wife, Erika, and his beautiful children.” He said
He further reassured that the shooter of Charlie Kirk would soon be found and brought to justice.
