Wema Bank Plc Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Moruf Oseni, has acquired 3.09 million ordinary shares of the bank in open-market transactions valued at about N98.67 million.
The transactions, executed on September 23 and 24, 2026, were disclosed to the Nigerian Exchange Limited in an insider dealing notification dated September 25.
Oseni purchased 3,088,288 shares across two transactions.

The first transaction involved the purchase of 3,067,578 shares at N32 per share, while another 20,710 shares were acquired at N31.90 each.
The purchases had a weighted average price of N31.95 per share.
Based on the disclosed transaction prices, the total value of the shares acquired was approximately N98.67 million.
