SWIT (South West Innovation & Technology Limited), the innovation and technology subsidiary of Odua Investment Company Limited (OICL), is seeking an experienced executive to serve as its next Chief Executive Officer/Managing Director (CEO/MD).
The successful candidate will lead the company’s commercial growth, technology strategy, and venture development initiatives while positioning SWIT as a leading digital transformation and innovation platform in Southwest Nigeria.
The appointment is for a renewable five-year executive term and will be based in Lagos, with travel across Southwest Nigeria as required.

Job Summary
The Chief Executive Officer/Managing Director will provide strategic and operational leadership for SWIT, driving business expansion, revenue generation, investment oversight, and organizational transformation.
This executive role requires a commercially minded technology leader capable of building strategic partnerships, delivering enterprise technology solutions, growing recurring revenue, and overseeing venture investments with strong governance.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
- Develop and execute commercial technology solutions that generate sustainable revenue.
- Lead enterprise business development across OICL subsidiaries and external corporate, government, and institutional clients.
- Conduct technology needs assessments and translate client requirements into deployable digital solutions.
- Build and manage a profitable pipeline of technology projects, managed services, and digital transformation engagements.
- Oversee venture building, startup investments, portfolio management, fundraising, and investor relations.
- Identify and evaluate new investment opportunities aligned with SWIT’s strategic objectives.
- Provide leadership to the executive team while fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and execution.
- Represent SWIT before the Board, government agencies, investors, development finance institutions, and industry stakeholders.
- Establish strategic partnerships with technology vendors, system integrators, financial institutions, universities, research organizations, and innovation ecosystem partners.
- Work closely with the finance team to ensure sound financial management, regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and risk management.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants should possess:
- A minimum of 12 to 15 years of progressive professional experience.
- At least five years of experience in a senior executive or C-suite leadership role.
- A proven record of driving revenue growth within technology, innovation, or digital transformation organizations.
- Experience managing profit and loss (P&L) responsibilities and delivering measurable commercial results.
- Practical experience designing enterprise technology solutions based on client needs.
- A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
- An MBA, postgraduate qualification, or relevant professional certifications will be an added advantage.
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates with the following experience will be highly regarded:
- Leadership experience within diversified conglomerates or large corporate groups.
- Active involvement in startup ecosystems through investing, mentoring, incubation, acceleration, or advisory roles.
- Experience working with technology vendors (OEMs), software providers, and systems integration projects.
- Background in enterprise software, digital transformation consulting, startups, or public sector technology initiatives.
