Professor PLO-Lumumba others for Africa Youth Conversation

The Africa Speakers Group (ASG) is launching the Africa Youth Conversation, a series of virtual events on youth and leadership on Saturday, 15th May 2021. The ASG has assembled a group high-profile professionals and influencers from the continent for the virtual event.  Prof PLO-Lumumba, Lawyer and Former CEO, Kenya School of Law will give a keynote address for the May 15th session. The sessions will continue on 22nd May 2021.

The Africa Youth Conversation is an initiative designed to provide an opportunity for regular engagement of African youths with policymakers, thought leaders, decision-makers, researchers, academics, development community and media on broad issues of youth development within the continent with the purpose of providing actionable ideas, valid data, reports, etc and promoting coalesced actions towards optimally harnessing the Africa “youth advantage”. It will also undertake to track and document youth-focused developments across the continent.

The inaugural edition – The Africa Youth Conversation 1.0 – will take place as a multi-session, Africa-wide webinar.  Speakers are drawn from across the continent. At the end of the conversation, videos and transcripts will be made available for public consumption.

The keynote speakers are Prof PLO-Lumumba, Lawyer and Former CEO, Kenya School of Law and Dr Jonathan Sandy, Chairman, Executive Board, Regional Centre for Governance and Security Policy Initiative- Accredited to the African Union Economic, Social and Cultural Council – ECOSOCC, Sierra Leone.
