About the Role
The Manager, Technology Risk position is a full-time opportunity based in Lagos, Nigeria.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading IT audit and advisory engagements, assessing client technology risk environments, and supporting the delivery of high-quality assurance services.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering client-facing IT audit and advisory projects across multiple sectors
- Identifying and communicating IT audit findings to senior management and clients
- Evaluating the design and effectiveness of technology controls in business processes
- Assessing clients’ technology risk environments and risk mitigation strategies
- Supervising and mentoring junior team members
- Supporting proposal development and business growth initiatives
- Building strong client relationships and ensuring service excellence
- Identifying opportunities for business process improvements
Requirements and Qualifications
Applicants are expected to meet the following criteria:
- Minimum of five O’ Level credits (including English Language and Mathematics) in one sitting
- Bachelor’s degree with at least a Second-Class Upper Division
- Minimum of 8 years post-NYSC experience in IT audit, compliance, or risk management
- Relevant certifications such as CISA, CRISC, COBIT5, ITIL, ISO, or similar qualifications
- Strong knowledge of IT audit methodologies and emerging technologies
- Experience with data analytics and visualization tools such as SQL, Oracle, Python, and Power BI
- Familiarity with CAAT tools like IDEA or ACL
- Knowledge of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools such as UiPath or Automation Anywhere
- Understanding of core banking systems (e.g., Finacle, Flexcube, T24) and ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics)
- Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills
- Ability to manage stakeholders across different levels of seniority
