Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze large biological datasets (genomics, transcriptomics, etc.).
  • Develop and maintain bioinformatics tools and pipelines.
  • Perform bioinformatics analyses using command languages
  • Collaborate with researchers within and outside the center to interpret genomic data and publish findings.
  • Ensure proper data management and quality control.

Qualifications & Experience

  • BSc/MSc in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or related field (Ph.D. is an advantage).
  • 3+ years of experience in bioinformatics, especially with NGS data.
  • Proficiency in bioinformatics tools (e.g., GATK, Bowtie,, SAMtools), programming (Python, R), and statistical software (R, SAS).

Skills

  • Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with biological databases and Linux/Unix systems.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
