Born into the royal Owoade-Agunloye family of Oyo town, Prince Owoade is a descendant of Aremo Aderounmu Iyanda Owoade of the Agure Compound. He completed his secondary education at Baptist High School, Saki, in 1992 before earning a National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from The Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro (1994-1997) and a Higher National Diploma from The Polytechnic, Ibadan (1999-2001).
Prince Owoade pursued further education in the United Kingdom, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science from the University of Sunderland in 2008 and a Master of Science from Northumbria University in 2012, both in Mechanical Engineering. He became certified in Project Management (PMP) in June 2015.
His professional journey began with a mechanical internship at the Nigeria Gas Company during his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in 2002, followed by a teller position at Oceanic Bank International Plc in Warri (2003-2004). He later served as a Planning Engineer at Oil Reach Company in Glasgow, UK, before relocating to Canada, where he currently serves as a Project Coordinator at Manitoba Hydro, one of the country’s largest electric power utilities. Additionally, he leads 100279 Manitoba Limited, a real estate investment and financial services company.
Prince Owoade has demonstrated a long-standing commitment to community development and philanthropy. His efforts have included financial support for widows and widowers, advocacy for cultural preservation through participation in Yoruba cultural organizations, and mentorship for youth empowerment.
