Eterna Plc is recruiting an IT Officer with expertise in computer systems, networks, security, and software applications to join its team in Ikoyi, Lagos.
Key Responsibilities
– Install, configure, and maintain IT hardware, software, systems, and networks.
– Provide end-user IT support and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
– Manage and monitor network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and IP Telephone.
– Maintain IT security systems, including antivirus, firewalls, and security software.
– Perform preventive maintenance, system upgrades, and timely backups.
– Maintain records of IT infrastructure, assets, and software licences.
– Support IT policies, risk management, security awareness, and other IT initiatives.
Requirements
– Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or any other related field of study from an accredited university.
– Proven experience in IT support or administration.
– Strong technical knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networks.
Professional IT certifications:
– Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP)
– Network+
– CompTIA A+
– Any other key professional IT certifications
Experience:
– Minimum of 3 years’ professional experience, with the last 3 years in a similar capacity as an added advantage.
