Eterna PLC has appointed Dr. Jude Nwaulune as its Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer with effect from May 14, 2026.
Dr. Nwaulune succeeds Mr. Olumide Adeosun, whose resignation as Managing Director/CEO took effect on May 13, 2026. The Board expressed appreciation to Adeosun for his leadership, contributions, and service during his tenure, wishing him success in his future endeavours.
Profile of Dr. Jude Nwaulune
Dr. Jude Nwaulune is an experienced business executive with more than 19 years of professional experience across sales, marketing, business development, logistics, and operations management within Nigeria’s downstream energy sector.
He is recognised for his expertise in petroleum retail expansion, Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) market penetration, petroleum bulk storage management, and nationwide distribution operations. Over the last 12 years, he has played key roles in driving strategic growth initiatives, operational efficiency, and market expansion across multiple segments of the energy industry.
His experience spans corporate strategy, supply chain optimisation, brand development, and business transformation.
Dr. Nwaulune earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Ambrose Alli University with Second Class Upper Division honours. He also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism with distinction in Public Relations and Advertising from the Nigerian Institute of Journalism, as well as a Master of Science in Marketing Communications and a PhD in Strategic Marketing Management from Babcock University.
He belongs to several professional bodies, including the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria, the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria, the Nigerian Institute of Management, the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, and the Nigerian Institute of Training and Development.
An academic and thought leader, Dr. Nwaulune has authored three books and published several articles in local and international journals. He has also participated in executive training programmes and professional conferences across Nigeria, Africa, and Europe.
Before his appointment at Eterna PLC, Dr. Nwaulune served as Managing Director of Rainoil Logistics Services Limited.
