How Nigerian Students Can Get 10 Free Shares in Aliko Dangote Foundation’s Share Grant Initiative

Dangote Refinery IPO

The Aliko Dangote Foundation has announced a Share Grant Initiative for students in the ongoing Dangote refinery IPO.

The share grant initiative is designed to promote financial inclusion and encourage a culture of savings and investment among eligible students of private and public tertiary institutions in Nigeria.

How Students Can Participate

To participate in the Initiative, a student must be 18 years of age or older, meet the applicable student verification and other eligibility requirements, and apply for a minimum of 10 shares in the Initial Public Offering (“IPO”) of Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals FZE (“DPRP”) through the designated subscription channel.

An eligible student who successfully completes the required verification and application process will qualify for ADF to make a separate application for an additional 10 DPRP shares on the student’s behalf, at no cost to the student.

Participation in the Initiative is subject to the Terms and Conditions of the Initiative and the terms of the DPRP IPO and as such neither the student’s application nor any application made by ADF on the student’s behalf guarantees the allotment of shares. All applications remain subject to the applicable allotment process.

The Initiative applies only to the Dangote refinery IPO and cannot be used to purchase shares in any other Dangote company or any other company. Students may participate only in their own name and for their own benefit.
