Betaglass has named Boye Olusanya as its new board chairman following the resignation of Dr. Vitus Ezinwa from the company’s board. The change was contained In a regulatory filing on Wednesday, with Mr Olusanya’s appointment taking effect from 30 July.
Boye Olusanya is a transformational business leader with over 25 years of executive leadership experience across FMCG, agriculture, telecommunications, technology, energy, infrastructure, and financial services.
Rich Corporate Leadership Experience
He currently serves as Group Chief Executive Officer of FMN Holdings Limited, a position he has held since 2021; He also serves as the Vice Chairman of the Nigerian Economic Summit Group, and a member of the Presidential Food Systems Coordination Unit.
Prior to his current role, he was operating Partner at Helios Investment Partners and MD/CEO of Emerging Market Telecoommunication Services Ltd (9mobile). He also had a stint at Dangote Industries Limited as Chief Business Transformation Officer
He was at some point, Managing Director of Dancom Technologies/ Alheri Engineering Limited, as well as Deputy Chief Executive Officer VMOBILE / Celtel between 2004 and 2008. He previously served as Chairman of Axxela Limited.
Educational Background
Boye Olusanya holds a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Lagos; Msc, Civil Engineering from the University of Liverpool and a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Manchester.
