The Police Service Commission (PSC) has released the names of 50,000 successful applicants recruited into the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) as Police Constables, concluding the nationwide recruitment exercise.
The Commission announced that candidates who participated in the recruitment process can now verify their status through the official recruitment portal. Successful applicants will also receive notifications via the email addresses and phone numbers provided during registration.
The PSC said the recruitment exercise was conducted in collaboration with the Nigeria Police Force, the Federal Character Commission, the Ministry of Police Affairs, State Career and Counselling Departments, and the Police Community Relations Committee. It described the process as transparent, merit-based and compliant with the federal character principle.

Applicants can confirm whether they have been shortlisted by visiting the official Nigeria Police recruitment portal at https://npfapplication.psc.gov.ng/
To check their status, candidates should:
Visit the recruitment portal.
Log in using the credentials created during registration.
Access their dashboard to view their recruitment status and any further instructions.
Check their registered email address and mobile phone for official notifications from the PSC.
Next Stage of Recruitment Exercise
The Commission said successful candidates will proceed to documentation and medical screening at designated Police Training Institutions.
Further information on reporting dates, designated training institutions and documentation requirements will be communicated through the recruitment portal and other official PSC channels.
The Commission reiterated that the recruitment exercise is entirely free of charge and warned applicants against individuals demanding payment or promising employment in exchange for money.
Candidates were advised to rely solely on official PSC communication channels for updates and to disregard fraudulent messages or unofficial websites claiming to offer recruitment assistance.
The PSC urged successful applicants to regularly monitor the recruitment portal and their registered contact details for further instructions on the next phase of the enlistment process.
