Heirs Insurance Group, a family of leading insurance companies headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria is hiring a dynamic and results-driven Salesperson to join Heirs Life Assurance.

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Salesperson to join Heirs Life Assurance. In this role, you will be responsible for driving new business, nurturing lasting client relationships, and achieving sales targets. Your contribution will directly impact the company’s growth by identifying opportunities, promoting our insurance products, and closing successful sales.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

SALES GENERATION: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through COLD CALLING, networking, referrals, and social media.

CLIENT RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT: Develop and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships by understanding client needs and offering tailored insurance solutions.

PRODUCT EXPERTISE: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company products and services to effectively communicate their value and benefits to potential clients.

SALES PRESENTATIONS: Conduct engaging presentations and product demonstrations for individuals and corporate prospects.

NEGOTIATION & CLOSING: Negotiate terms, finalize contracts, and close deals that meet both client needs and company goals. TARGET ACHIEVEMENT: Consistently meet or exceed sales quotas and performance objectives.

CUSTOMER SUPPORT: Provide after-sales assistance to ensure customer satisfaction, retention, and referrals.

MARKET RESEARCH: Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.

REPORTING: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and performance reports for management review.

COLLABORATION: Work closely with marketing, product, and customer service teams to ensure a cohesive sales strategy.

Qualifications Required

Experience: Proven sales experience; prior experience in the insurance or financial services sector is an advantage. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline preferred.

Proven track record of exceeding sales targets Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team Insurance industry experience is a plus Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field

SKILLS: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong negotiation and closing abilities Customer-focused with a passion for service excellence Proficiency in modern sales techniques and CRM tools Strong problem-solving and objection-handling abilities Effective time management and organizational skills Ability to adapt and perform in a fast-paced, target-driven environment Self-motivated and goal-oriented mindset
