The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced that the 2026 Batch ‘A’ Stream One Orientation Programme will kick off nationwide on Wednesday, 21 January 2026.
The exercise will take place simultaneously at all 37 NYSC Orientation Camps across the country.
According to the schedule, registration of corps members at the camps will run from Wednesday, 21 January and end at midnight on Friday, 23 January 2026.

The official swearing-in ceremony is slated for Friday, 23 January, while the orientation programme will formally come to an end with the closing ceremony on Tuesday, 10 February 2026.
The Director-General of NYSC, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, has extended his goodwill to all prospective corps members as they proceed to their various states of deployment.
He also emphasized the importance of safety during travel, strongly advising corps members to avoid night journeys.
NYSC management encourages all participants to comply with guidelines and arrive early to ensure a smooth registration and orientation process.
