Regina Daniels Fires Back at Husband Ned Nwoko: “Stop the Lies”

Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has broken her silence in a fiery multi-part Instagram post, directly accusing her billionaire politician husband, Prince Ned Nwoko, of hypocrisy, manipulation, and emotional abuse in response to his public allegations of drug addiction, family sabotage, and forced rehabilitation.

In a series of posts timestamped November 9, 2025, the 25-year-old star rejected claims that her family orchestrated her substance use, insisting instead that Nwoko had always encouraged her altered states because, in his words, she was sexier and wild and romantic when high.

“Fine, I did drugs. So what? Is that even the issue between us?” Regina wrote. “The moment we had a fight, you rushed to the public shouting ‘drugs, drugs, drugs,’ because you knew it would make a perfect story for the media — something dramatic enough to distract everyone from the real issue.”

She accused Nwoko of a calculated strategy to isolate her: “You want to find a reason to arrest everyone around me so that I will have no one left beside me — no friend, no support, no safe place to turn to. Then, when I’m completely isolated and broken, I will be forced to come back to you because I will have nowhere else to go.”

Regina claimed Nwoko had long tried to distance her from her family due to their close bond, and was now using the drug narrative to vilify them without cause.

Allegations of Control and Medical Abuse

The actress went further, alleging physical and psychological control:

– Forced confinement: “Why don’t you tell them how you lock me up, seize my phones, and suddenly declare me ‘mentally unstable’ the moment I say I no longer want to be in this relationship?”

– Medical manipulation: “Why don’t you tell them how you lock me up and [call] Doctors to inject me with drugs meant for people with bipolar disorder?”

– Conditional stability: She claimed that once she agreed to stay, the “mental instability” label vanished and rehab was no longer needed.

Regina also revealed a bombshell: there is no legal marriage between them.

“For the record, I would have filed for divorce long ago if there was ever a legal marriage between us,” she declared. “We were never married in any court of law, and no documents were signed.

Leave me alone, Ned. Marriage is not by force. Love is not by force. Stop trying to control what no longer belongs to you!”

“You Liked the High Version of Me”

In one of the most explosive segments, Regina turned Nwoko’s rehab narrative against him:

“You say you want me to go for rehab, but you are the same Ned who always wanted me high because, in your words, I’m ‘sexier’ when I’m high. You liked me that way because it made me wild and romantic — exactly how you wanted me to be.”

She accused him of weaponizing her past substance use only after she expressed a desire to leave.

A Pattern of Rejection and Control?

Regina suggested Nwoko’s public exposé was rooted in rejection:

“You are feeling rejected and hurt, and you are struggling to make peace with the fact that it’s all over.”

She urged him to tell the full truth — including allegations that his other wives and ex-wives are also on drugs — and questioned why he confiscates her phones for weeks simply because she speaks frequently with her family.

“You have never seen me act incoherent, stumble, or lose control,” she asserted. “Every problem we have had started when I no longer wanted you — whether sober or even high.”

“No Amount of Money Equals My Sacrifice”

Addressing Nwoko’s earlier claims of lavish financial support, Regina countered:

“No matter how much you think you spent on me, it can never equal the value of the time I gave you, my prime years, my energy, and the career opportunities I sacrificed while being with you.”

Final Words: “I Have a Lot More to Say”

The posts ended abruptly with:

“I have a lot more to say but let me just stop here for now. I can only thank God that I… more.”

Neither Ned Nwoko nor his representatives have responded to Regina’s counter-claims at this time.

This public unraveling marks a dramatic escalation in what has been a closely watched union between the 65-year-old former lawmaker and the much younger actress, once celebrated as a modern love story, now fractured in the harsh glare of social media.
