2face’s Fiancée, Natasha Osawaru, Removed as Edo State House of Assembly Minority Leader

Singer 2face’s fiancee Natasha Osawaru, has been removed from her position as minority leader of the Edo state house of Assembly.

Osawaru, who represents the Egor constituency under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), was removed following a shift in legislative power after the defection of four PDP lawmakers to the All Progressives Congress (APC) handed the APC a new majority in the house.

The shake up also saw the exit of Charity Aiguobarueghian, the former majority leader, and Yekini Idaiye, the former chief whip while PDP’s Blessing Agbebaku and Maria Edeko retained their roles as Speaker and Deputy Speaker, respectively.

The changes were triggered by a formal notification from Jarret Tenebe, the acting chairman of the APC in Edo State, informing the assembly of the party’s new majority status in the house.

Speaker Agbebaku subsequently announced the appointment of new APC leaders: Ibhamawu Aigbokhan (Esan West) as majority leader, Addeh Isibor (Esan North-East I) as deputy leader, and Lecky Hussein Mustapha (Etsako West I) as chief whip.
