Port Harcourt Refinery Cost of Petrol Would be N1030 according to the NNPC. This was contained in a statement from the Petroleum Products Retail Outlet Owners Association of Nigeria (PETROAN).
Earlier Price Confusion
Earlier, PETROAN had disclosed that the petrol price at the Port Harcourt refinery was N1,045 per litre, but the report was later debunked.
NNPC also went ahead to state it had not officially released any pricing information and that the purchasing portal had not opened.

Latest Statement
In a statement on Thursday night, PETROAN revealed the product booking portal was finally open and the NNPC was selling petrol at N1,030 per litre.
PETROAN spokesman Joseph Obele, while revealing this, said, “NNPC Retail Ltd has officially announced the PMS price at the Port Harcourt refinery as N1,030 per litre.
“It was also communicated to PETROAN that the product request portal was open for booking/request.”
Clarification on Refinery Capacity
PETROAN also clarified that despite earlier claims of the refinery being nonfunctional, the plant is currently running at 70% of its full capacity, with the capacity expected to increase to 90% of its 60,000 barrels per day capacity soon.
The new Port Harcourt Refinery, which has a capacity of 200,000 barrels per day, is also expected to be revived soon to help improve supply across the country.
