The Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) has increased the cost of getting international passports to N100,000 and N200,000 in a recent development. The NIS announced the upward review on Thursday Morning in a release on its website.
Under the new directive, which takes effect from 1st September 2025, 32-page passports with a 5-year validity would now cost N100,000, while a 64-page passport with 10-year validity would cost N200,000.
For Nigerians in diaspora, the fees remain unchanged at $150 for a 32-page passport with 5-year validity and $230 for a 64-page passport with 10-year validity.
