NIGCOMSAT Accelerator Programme

The Nigerian Communications Satellite Limited (NIGCOMSAT) has officially opened applications for the 2025 NIGCOMSAT Accelerator Programme, an initiative designed to empower startups leveraging space technology to create real-world impact.

Running from February 1 to October 17, 2025, the programme offers early-stage Nigerian startups the opportunity to develop innovative products and services that address critical challenges in sectors such as agriculture, fintech, health, and security.

A Launchpad for Space-Tech Startups

The accelerator aims to equip founders with the tools and mentorship needed to turn their ideas into scalable solutions. Selected startups will benefit from:

Expert Mentorship: Guidance from global tech leaders such as Google and AWS.
Global Exposure: Opportunities to showcase innovations to international stakeholders.
Networking: Direct access to investors, space-tech experts, and fellow entrepreneurs.
Funding Support: A chance to compete for funding to scale impactful solutions.

Who Can Apply

Eligible applicants must:
✔ Be at least 18 years old
✔ Be a registered Nigerian startup
✔ Have a Minimum Viable Product (MVP)
✔ Incorporate space-based technology into their solution
