The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially shifted the 2025 Mock Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) from Saturday, April 5, to Thursday, April 10, 2025.
This rescheduling ensures that all preparations are fully executed, integrating new innovations and improvements to deliver one of the most successful exams to date. The change also supports the addition of more examination centers for the 2025 UTME.
Dr. Fabian Benjamin, JAMB’s Public Communication Adviser, stated that the adjustment reflects global best practices and recent regional research on examination methods. He emphasized that these measures aim to maximize the mock exercise’s effectiveness.
The main UTME remains unchanged, set to begin on April 25, 2025. Candidates are urged to await further guidance on printing their mock notification slips, which will include details of their assigned examination centers.
