The Federal Government in partnership with National Teachers Institute (NTI) and Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) has introduced the Accelerated Teacher Professional Pathway (ATPP) to provide an opportunity for teachers who are already teaching but do not yet have professional teaching qualifications to develop professionally and become certified teachers without leaving their classroom.
ATPP goes beyond training. It is designed to strengthen teacher competence, promote professional standards, support quality assurance and ultimately contribute to better learning outcomes for learners across Nigeria.
