Choose the best Television for you in 10 minutes (N130k -N200k)

There are many brands of television in the market today, with an array of sizes, functions, price points and smart and connectivity features (capacity for internet connection to watch Netflix, videos on YouTube, play games etc and connection to cameras, mobile telephones and devices such as USBs, flash drives and hard drives to access and display stored pictures, videos etc). It could be pretty confusing deciding what to buy. We are helping you to choose what to buy almost at a glance based on picture quality, price and your interests. For televisions in this range, size does not really matter, as there isn’t much difference between 49-inch and 50-inch TVs.

CONCLUSION:

The best buy here is Hisense because of its picture quality, HDMI and USB port access and smart features (internet connectivity). It has a more recent display technology (LED) than the LG which comes a close second (LCD). The Hisense also happens to be considerably cheaper.

The Panasonic comes in third. It has an LED display, which means it has a sharper colour contrast and consumes much less energy. It is cheaper than the Sony, which is not only three inches smaller (43 inches) but is also an LCD TV. Sony does not seem a good buy. At N170,000, it is the priciest of the lot.

NOTE: Prices based on Ikeja City Mall stores. They can cost more online.
