Apple’s iPhone 12 Model is Coming With a 5G Feature

New Leak on Apple’s iPhone 12 Model Shows 5G and LiDAR Scanner

Apple enthusiasts can no longer wait for the release date of the new iPhone model as sketchy details of the new smartphone leaks.

Amid coronavirus pandemic, many believed the new models could be released later in the year, according to various reports.

Jon Prosser, a tech analyst, started the conversation in recent tweets, releasing the details of the iPhone 12 models.

Prototyping for iPhone 12 devices is just about finalized! Final details line up pretty well with what Kuo said last year! Expect to see CAD renders of the devices within the next month or two from your favorite leakers! Now let’s see if Apple can get them out by EOY!”

If this new development, Apple is bringing new features to its smartphone; 5G and a LiDAR scanner.  Ewan Spence, a contributor at Forbes, noted that the “addition of the Lidar sensor will follow its inclusion in the iPad Pro launched last month – especially as that same Lidar sensor is a natural fit for the current iPhone design of the camera island.” With iPhone 11 Pro priced at $999, Forbes projected that the base model of iPhone 12 will match the iPhone 11 in price at $699 while a larger 6.1 inch iPhone 12 may be at $849.

COVID-19, 5G, and Apple new release

Amid coronavirus pandemic and the conspiracies surrounding the 5G network, Apple may alter any unofficial release date. The COVID-19 and 5G theory claim that the radiation from the latter is what’s causing coronavirus symptoms in humans. Bearing this in mind, Apple may not want to officially release the full details of the new smartphones, especially a new model with a 5G feature. The World Health Organisation (WHO), health, and other tech experts have denied the linkage between coronavirus and the fifth generation of Internet communications technologies.
