The San Francisco-based company disclosed the figures in an updated initial public offering (IPO) filing released on Monday, November 2, showing that its revenue growth has yet to translate into profitability.
Anthropic also revealed that it has committed approximately $895.4bn to artificial intelligence computing capacity and infrastructure, including data centres. About $70bn of the commitment is expected to be spent over the next 12 months.
The updated filing comes roughly a week after the company submitted its initial IPO documents, setting the stage for what is expected to be one of the major technology listings on Wall Street.
Anthropic Revenue Grows 13-Fold as Losses Mount
Anthropic’s revenue increased approximately 13 times to $33.2bn in the first nine months of 2026, reflecting growing demand for its artificial intelligence products and services. However, the company reported a net loss of $104bn over the same period.
The loss included a $94bn accounting adjustment related to financing agreements, a significant component of its reported financial deficit while on a quarterly basis, Anthropic generated $17bn in revenue but recorded a net loss of $23.3bn.
The figures highlight the widening gap between revenue growth and profitability among major artificial intelligence developers, which are spending heavily on computing infrastructure, data centres and the development of increasingly powerful AI models.
$895bn Infrastructure Commitment Highlights AI Spending Race
Anthropic’s updated filing also disclosed its enormous financial commitments to computing and infrastructure, with approximately $895.4bn allocated to AI computing capacity and related facilities.
Of this amount, about $70bn is expected to be spent within the next 12 months.
The spending commitments reflect the substantial computing resources required to train and operate advanced artificial intelligence models as demand for AI services expands.
Data centres, specialised computing chips, electricity and networking infrastructure have become major areas of investment for technology companies seeking to compete in the rapidly growing AI market.
Anthropic’s infrastructure commitments also illustrate the scale of capital required to sustain its expansion, even as the company continues to report significant losses.
The updated filing is part of Anthropic’s preparations for an expected public listing later in November as the company prepares to list its shares on the Nasdaq Global Select Market under the ticker symbol ANT.
However, the latest filing did not disclose how much Anthropic intends to raise through the IPO or the expected price range for its shares.
