Nestoil is inviting applications for the position of HRIS Analyst in Lagos. The role is designed for an analytical and detail-oriented professional who can support the effective administration, optimization and reporting of the company’s Human Resources Information System.
The HRIS Analyst will work closely with Human Resources, IT, payroll, finance, operations and business leaders to maintain accurate employee records, improve HR technology processes and provide reliable workforce information for decision-making.

The position also involves supporting HR technology projects, system integrations, reporting, user support and process improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
As an HRIS Analyst at Nestoil, the successful candidate will be expected to:
- Maintain, configure and support the HRIS platform and related HR technology modules.
- Manage employee records, recruitment, onboarding, payroll interfaces, time and attendance, benefits, performance, learning and reporting functions.
- Conduct routine data audits and validation to maintain the accuracy, integrity and confidentiality of employee information.
- Prepare HR reports, dashboards and workforce analytics covering areas such as headcount, manpower planning, turnover, payroll, training and compliance.
- Provide technical support to HRIS users and resolve system-related issues.
- Escalate complex technical problems to IT teams, system administrators, vendors or implementation partners when necessary.
- Work with HR, IT, payroll, finance and operations teams to identify requirements and improve HR workflows.
- Support automation of manual HR processes and help align system functionality with business needs.
- Participate in HRIS upgrades, integrations, testing and system rollouts.
- Conduct user acceptance testing and assist with preparing training and system documentation.
- Manage employee master data changes, organizational structures, job codes, position information, approval workflows and system access requests.
- Monitor integrations between the HRIS and payroll, finance, recruitment, access control, learning and other enterprise platforms.
- Support statutory, regulatory, internal audit and management reporting requirements.
- Train HR staff and other end users on HRIS processes, reporting tools and self-service functions.
Nestoil HRIS Analyst Requirements
Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Statistics or another related discipline.
Candidates should also have:
- At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in HRIS administration, HR operations, HR analytics, payroll systems support or business systems analysis.
- Hands-on experience or strong working knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors.
- Knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors modules such as Employee Central, Recruitment, Onboarding, Performance & Goals, Learning, Compensation, Reporting and Role-Based Permissions.
- A good understanding of HR processes, employee data management, payroll interfaces and HR service delivery.
- Experience with system configuration, data audits, user access management, testing, reporting and process improvement.
- Professional certification in HR, HR analytics, project management, data analytics or HR technology is an advantage.
Technical Skills
The role requires a combination of HR knowledge, analytical ability and technology skills.
Applicants should demonstrate strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with HR dashboards and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Excel Power Query or HRIS reporting modules.
Experience supporting SAP SuccessFactors administration—including user access, workflow configuration, data imports, reporting, testing and troubleshooting—is particularly important.
Knowledge of SQL, database concepts and system integration principles will be an added advantage.
Candidates should also be able to prepare business requirements, process flows, test scripts, user guides and standard operating procedures.
An understanding of data privacy, access controls, audit trails and the secure handling of employee information is also required.
