Seventeen Nigerian entrepreneurs have earned places on the prestigious Africa’s Business Heroes (ABH) 2026 Top 100 list, a recognition that highlights the growing impact of Nigerian-led businesses across Africa.
Selected from more than 24,000 applications across the continent, the founders represent a diverse range of sectors including agribusiness, healthcare, renewable energy, logistics, fintech, education technology, and e-commerce. The achievement positions them among Africa’s most promising entrepreneurs as they advance in the competition for a share of the $1.5 million ABH prize fund.
Profiles of the Nigerian Founders
Affiong Williams – ReelFruit

Williams is the founder and CEO of ReelFruit, one of Nigeria’s leading dried fruit and healthy snack manufacturers. Established in 2012, the company works with local farmers to process and package fruit-based snacks for domestic and international markets, helping to reduce post-harvest losses while creating jobs across the agricultural value chain.
Ayo Bankole – Caladium Consulting

Bankole leads Caladium Consulting, a firm focused on business transformation, strategy, and enterprise development. The company supports organizations with advisory services designed to improve operational efficiency, growth, and sustainability.
Ayoola Dominic – Koolboks
Dominic is the founder of Koolboks, a clean-energy company that manufactures solar-powered refrigerators and freezers. The company addresses electricity challenges in underserved communities while providing cold-storage solutions for households and small businesses.
Chidalu Onyenso – Earthbond
Onyenso is the founder of Earthbond, a climate-tech company helping businesses and households access renewable energy solutions. Earthbond leverages technology to simplify the financing and deployment of solar energy systems across Africa.
Chidimma Uzoma – Zayith Food Company

The inclusion of 17 Nigerians in the ABH 2026 Top 100 underscores the country’s growing role as a hub for innovation and entrepreneurship. The selected founders are tackling some of Africa’s most pressing challenges, including food insecurity, healthcare access, clean energy adoption, educational inclusion, transportation inefficiencies, and financial exclusion.
As the competition progresses toward the Top 20 and ultimately the Top 10 finalists, these entrepreneurs will be competing not only for funding but also for mentorship, international exposure, and access to a powerful network of business leaders.
