Ericsson has opened applications for the role of Cloud Infrastructure Integration Engineer Graduate within its cloud engineering and delivery organisation in Nigeria.
This post‑graduate internship (12 months) is a hands‑on opportunity to work with the Ericsson cloud platforms that underpin our network solutions. You will support the team in daily activities on cloud infrastructure, contributing to configuration, integration and validation tasks, while learning how Ericsson designs, deploys and operates its cloud architecture for communication service providers.
Your work will in part be performed from customer premises and will require domestic (up to 50%) and, occasionally, international travel.

Responsibilities
- Support the preparation and validation of cloud configurations and scripts, with a strong focus on accuracy and reproducibility.
- Deploy cloud solutions, software installation, configuration
- Assist in troubleshooting activities, helping to identify issues and implement corrections under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Participate in integration and migration tasks on Ericsson cloud environments, following established methods and process frameworks.
- Help ensure that virtual infrastructure, operating systems, software components, licenses and configuration data are available in the correct format and version.
- Contributes to the execution of test cases to verify the configuration and integration of cloud components, services and network functions.
- Contributes to documenting configurations, procedures and lessons learned to improve quality and reuse.
- Collaborate with the team to identify and propose automation opportunities that simplify and speed up cloud delivery activities.

- The architecture and building blocks of Ericsson cloud platforms, including how cloud resources are designed, deployed and managed.
- How cloud infrastructure, virtualized network functions and related services are integrated and validated in end‑to‑end solutions.

- How to work in an international, cross‑functional team, interacting with senior engineers and stakeholders from different domains.
- Best practices related to security, data privacy and health & safety within Ericsson’s delivery framework.

Requirements
- Ongoing or recently (0-3 years) completed Master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
- Basic understanding of cloud and virtualization concepts (e.g. Linux, containers, virtual machines, networking fundamentals).
- Interest in automation and scripting (for example Python, Bash or similar) and willingness to learn modern automation tools.
- Strong troubleshooting mindset and curiosity to understand how complex systems work.
- Ability to follow structured processes and documentation, with attention to detail and quality.
- Good communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive and learning‑oriented attitude.
- Professional working proficiency in English
