The subscription offerings are expected to include enhanced customisation, exclusive stickers and reactions, advanced analytics, improved privacy controls, and other premium tools designed to improve user experience.

Industry reports indicate that Facebook and Instagram subscriptions could start around $3.99 per month, while WhatsApp premium tiers may begin at approximately $2.99 monthly.

AI Focused Model

Meta is also reportedly building AI-focused subscription products under a broader “Meta One” ecosystem. The company is expected to maintain a free version of Meta AI while reserving advanced capabilities for paying users.

Premium AI subscribers may receive:

Meta has committed billions of dollars to AI chips, data centres, and generative AI research as competition intensifies across the global technology sector.

The company’s long-term strategy may eventually consolidate its various services into a single bundled subscription package combining social media perks, AI access, verification features, and potentially hardware integrations such as smart glasses and wearable devices.
