About the Role
The Flight Dispatcher position is a full-time role within the airline’s operations team. Successful candidates will play a critical part in ensuring safe and efficient flight operations by working closely with pilots and other aviation stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
Selected applicants will be expected to:
- Exercise joint operational control with the Pilot-in-Command (PIC), including authorizing and releasing flights in line with approved plans
- Prepare, review, and monitor operational and air traffic service (ATS) flight plans
- Analyze weather conditions, aircraft performance, and airspace factors to optimize routes and fuel usage
- Maintain real-time flight monitoring and communicate updates to relevant parties
- Handle irregular operations such as delays, diversions, and emergency situations
- Coordinate with maintenance teams and operational units to ensure compliance and efficiency
Requirements and Qualifications
To be considered for the role, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Minimum of a B.Sc, HND, or equivalent qualification
- Valid NCAA Flight Dispatcher License
- At least two years of hands-on experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of flight planning systems and weather interpretation
- Familiarity with NCAA regulations and ICAO standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant aviation software
- Excellent communication and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work in a high-pressure, round-the-clock operational environment
Salary Range
The position offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from ₦365,000 to ₦900,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
Work Locations
Successful candidates may be deployed across several states in Nigeria, including Lagos, Abuja, Rivers, Enugu, Kaduna, and others.
