Green Space Farms (Greenco) has launched its Agribusiness Management Trainee Programme, a long-term development initiative aimed at grooming young Nigerians into future leaders within the agri-food industry.
This programme is designed for individuals who want more than entry-level roles, offering a structured path into executive positions through hands-on experience and strategic exposure.
Participants will undergo an intensive 36-month training cycle, working closely with top management and gaining direct insight into business operations, decision-making, and growth strategies across the agricultural value chain.

Available Career Tracks
Only two candidates will be selected, each assigned to a specific track:
Track A — Operations & Farm Management
This track focuses on the technical and operational side of the business. Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating farm activities and production processes
- Managing supply chains and logistics
- Overseeing inventory and operational performance
- Supporting workforce coordination at farm level
Career Path: Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Track B — Commercial & Business Management
This track is designed for those interested in business growth and financial performance. Responsibilities include:
- Managing sales channels and distribution networks
- Building and maintaining customer relationships
- Analyzing revenue and tracking performance metrics
- Supporting budgeting and financial planning
Career Path: General Manager or Commercial Director
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the programme, applicants must:
1. Hold a BSc or HND in relevant fields such as:
- Agribusiness or Agriculture
- Business Administration
- Economics or Finance
2. Have between 0 and 3 years of post-graduation experience
3. Demonstrate strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
4. Show high levels of responsibility, integrity, and accountability
5. Be willing to travel frequently for field operations
6. Have a genuine interest in agriculture and food systems
7. Be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
Track-Specific Preference:
Track A: Some experience in operations, logistics, or farm work
Track B: Exposure to sales, finance, or account management
